Laura Baechtel

"Swimwear is my favorite thing to model. It makes me feel incredibly sexy!" Laura began her pageant career at 14 in her home state of Illinois where she has held numerous titles. She loves spending time at her 15 acre estate northeast of St. Louis, where her son can enjoy the open spaces and the animals. She is particularly excited about the Mrs. U.S. Globe pageant because she believes strongly in the pageant and its ideals. Proud of her Irish heritage, Laura is currently finishing a historical book about her family, the Flinns, dating back before the Revolutionary War to ancient Ireland. The book is scheduled to be published and distributed to libraries and historical societies. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Radio, Television and Film. Her current goals are to expand her entertainment career in modeling, acting, singing and broadcasting. Laura has won over 150 titles, plus talent titles, and has appeared in the Hot Rod Magazine Swimsuit Issue, Pacific Flyer Swimsuit Issue, Swimwear Illustrated Quick Clips, American Swimwear Model contest, Swimsuit International Model Contest, Hollywood Splash swimwear ad.
