Who am I?

My interests include ham radio, Scouting, bicycling and mountain biking, racewalking and running, canoeing and kayaking, woodworking and reading. I especially enjoy reading magazines and history books, and try to read the Bible daily. I was the Community Leader for Yosemite 4500-4999 for several years, starting in December 1997.

I was the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 20 in Malvern, Ark. and hold amateur radio license WB5HGU. My wife, Susan, and I have 3 daughters and a son.

Our eldest daughter is a licensed practical nurse, a graduate of Ouachita Technical College in Malvern. Our middle daughter plays trombone in the high school band. Our youngest daughter enjoys volleyball. Our son is a new Tenderfoot Scout. My wife enjoys decorating, sewing, reading and watching old movies. Susan and I are blessed that our parents are still alive and in relatively good health, and that they live close enough to visit often.

Susan and I are active members of First United Methodist Church in Malvern, where Susan is the administrative assistant. Our church sponsors Boy Scout Troop 20 and we have a dynamic youth director, Pete Weber. If you happen to be in Malvern and want to visit our church, please contact us!

Please e-mail me at Xlewis73@geocities.com and sign my guestbook.
