Spool Doll Necklace

Materials Needed
1/2 inch x 1/2 inch wood spools (4 per doll) 16mm round wooden beads (1 per doll)
Pony Beads (11 per doll)Medium weight household twine (2 feet per doll)
1/8 inch wide ribbon (30 inches per doll)Colored yarn for hair
Needle with large eye to use for threading beads and spools.
A picture of the completed project is below.

Directions:
Fold the twine in half. Tie a knot towards the top of this (you want to make a small loop for the ribbon to slip through, so that you can make this into a necklace).

Thread both ends of the twine through the eye of the needle.

Pull needle through the 16mm wood bead and push all the way up to the knot.

Tie a length of yarn around the 2 strands of twine between the knot and the wood bead. (this will be your hair).

Remove twine from needle and then rethread only one end of the twine.

Thread the needle through a bead, a spool and a bead, and then back through the spool and first bead. (this will be your arm). Remove this end of twine from the needle and thread the other one and repeat this procedure to produce the other arm.

Thread both end of twine through needle and then put on three pony beads (this will be the body).

Remove twin from needle and then rethread only one end of the twine.

Thread the one end of twine through a bead, a spool, a bead, and then back through the last beads. (this will be the leg). Remove this end of twine from the needle and thread the other one and repeat this procedure to produce the other leg.

Finish off the ends by tying several knots.

Thread a length of ribbon through the small loop of twine to form the necklace.
