Dear Diane, Your letter was forwarded to me concerning "The History of Versailles...". I have called John Nance, who is quite elderly, (his brother, Fred, is even older), and John says for me to tell you to "Have at it!" Therefore, you have our permission to put this book on your web page site. We have been amazed at how far-reaching this book has been. We have had calls from California, Texas, Missouri, Florida and even Oregon. Rutherford County had 33 or 34 Revolutionary War soldiers buried here and most of the land was land grants from the Revolutionary War, especially from people living in North Carolina at the time. Iguess they had itchy feet and as soon as the West opened up the next generation kept on going. At any rate, if there is anything more you need, please don't hesitate to give me a call. Jesus People Church in Minneapolis
This group is for people who were involved with Jesus People Church in Minneapolis and affected in a negitive way and needs a place to be able to move on. We are a group of people who want to heal and move on with our lives. I've found that I've been able to vent my feelings, and for the most part, be accepted by the group with the encourgement of the majority. There have been a limited few who have been unsympathetic and have said to "just get over it." For me, this format is the best way to do this in a positive way.
