This Is Where I Live! In The City Of Invercargill.
We Holiday In Arrowtown, Which Is About 20 Minutes From Queenstown, Towards Cromwell.
Queenstown, Arrowtown And A Lot Of The Surrounding Towns And Areas Date Back To The Gold Rush Days Of The 1860's. And Their Tourism Is Based On This And The Adrenaline Pumping Attractions, Such As Bungee Jumping, White Water Rafting, Jet Boating (On One Of The Most Dangerous Rivers In New Zealand, Through The Kawara Gorge), Not to Mention Skiing. There Are Three Major Ski Fields In The Queenstown Area, Coronet Peak, The Remarkables, And Cadrona.
Queenstown Itself, Lies On The Shores Of Lake Wakatipu. And You Can Take A Gondola From Queenstown Up The Mountain To The Skyline Restaurant and Lookout On Bob's Peak. You Can Also Go Parapenting From Bob's Peak. You Can See A Spectacular View Across The Lake And Across To Walter Peak Station, Which The Only Access Is Via The Lake. It Has No Road Access
