Eve held it as she pondered much,
the temptation inviting to her delicate touch.
Promises of awakenings filled the Eden atmosphere.
Would she dare?
She savoured it, consequences apparently unclear.
For that one last second,
Eve lived without carnal fear.
She waited for the fruit to make her change,
life gambled for unknown rewards to attain.
Little of her former self would remain.
Paradise lost for selfish gains.
To late she realized a careless deed done in vain.
Even in Eve's perfection she was tempted by
the assets promised in that God forbidden fruit.
Preferring it would seem,
the seed of a very different dream.
Tempted by the promised spiritual boost.
She wasn't concerned that God would give her the boot.
Satan has learned humanities weakest points.
He'll wave wonderful promises in our greedy face.
He's wise to the paths that man would prefer to take.
Man, a race of thrill seekers.
Not always listening to the wiser speaker.
She went on a quest for stimulation rather then a good relation.
Self-made misery, embedded in God's finest creations,
death wait's for all with endless patients.
Unemployed archangel,
knows all heavens angles.
Imitate's gifts sent to those God appreciates.
Those faithful who Satan really hates.
He deceives thrill seekers with a false spiritual high,
bestowing gifts they assume descend from God above.
Not understanding they are rewarded for loyalty and love,
Not meant for those who choose to believe unlawful lies.
Not sent to those who don't understand the fruit of the
Holy vine.
Foolish people, drunk on polluted false wine.
Reckless children, like their deceived mother Eve,
after hearing the word,
still choose not to believe.
Still choosing stimulation more then the relation.
