The Ten

Understand a man who need not explain
what He desires is right for those He made.
Understand the man who came to save.
Human's from death on the judgment day.
Understand a man who came to serve.
To show the world through a living word.
Understand its not freedom to do what you please.
But to follow in faith what God said
is best for fallen humanity.
Understand its respect of what He commands.
A way that leads us back to creation as it first began.
Understand that its reconciliation.
He desires with His beloved creations.
Not just humanity holding each others hand.
But to make us once again fit for the Promised Land.
Understand its the commands that are written on our new heart.
So sin will never again be able to tear God and man apart.
And though we may struggle with each command in its turn.
Its those 10 by which we will finally learn.
Grace has given us a new lease on life.
But its by our actions we show what we know to be right.
The commandments are Gods chosen ways.
The truth and the light....
the standard held in the repentant Hearts He saved.
Each of the 10 in its time will be presented to us.
Until the Spirit overcomes whatever bonds we need to bust.
As long as we have faith,
and its only Gods word that we trust.
Understand its Gods strength that will lead us on.
And sin is something we CAN get beyond.
Perfection we may not yet be able to attain.
But a healthy respect for all 10 will lead the way.
The hope of our heart.
That the 10 will always remain.
For in them Gods character speaks very plain.
