LOYALTY
To be faithful to an idea is noble and grand.
Peace, joy and goodwill, themes that ring out
through this troubled land.
To live in harmony, it's focus seems morally right.
But tell me, how much is Earth willing to sacrifice,
to gain that dream, that temporal delight?
Has it been God's plan all along, to have man
join together their own imperfect hands?
To create a surrogate deceiving truce,
at the cost of compromising our Lord's superior truth.
Tossing aside the Law's God gave,
and replacing them with the aspirations of man,
will doom them soon to an eternal grave.
Judging for themselves they pronounce,
they have a wiser, more sure plan.
By their actions they venture to claim,
that God's guidance has been in vain.
It was their own evolving growth,
that made them realize,
the necessity of standing side by side.
Forever preaching in God's name.
When their plans fall apart,
they are quick to transfer the blame.
Having failed to see the truth behind His plan.
That He's preparing to restore everything back to
how it first began.
Does the blind, unstable heart, truly believe that human
unity is what this conflict is all about?
Don't they see, the higher reason of setting us free?
Is wisdom indeed so lost?
Don't they realize that death is the results of sin?
A battle mankind cannot win.
No common ground found on this planet of ours,
could kill that vires deep within.
Do they intend to sell out so cheap?
Willing such a fatal nature for themselves
and our planet to keep?
"Not the peace of man," He bluntly said.
But to reunite with our creator is the far better plan.
Wouldn't anyone take a ethical stand?
They pat themselves on the back,
foolishly thinking their on the right track.
It seems man has spread the claim,
that Jesus is not the only acceptable holy name.
One must be tolerant and except,
whatever another chooses for his God.
Perhaps that notion will one day become law.
They say what is truly moral.
Is a united earth.
One that has buried racial and denominational quarrels.
Be it wrong or right, the peace of man is the only goal
in their sight.
Even Christians who bear Christ's name,
have said "harmony," is the ultimate aim.
A cultural awareness,
an enlightened acceptance of others,
I'm told,
is the only TRUE religious road.
The essence of the golden rule.
To love one another is find and grand.
A large part of God's caring plan.
But to trample His truth in an attempt to hold each others hand,
is a compromise that carries faithless demands.
Am I the only fool around,
that doesn't share this insane view?
Am I so impaired that I missed the point?
Is it that conformity puts my nose out of joint?
I've been told how sad it is,
that I don't seem able to comprehend.
Surly I must understand?
and I don't care if people point and stare.
They have been warned,
if they refuse to see the injustice they do to the Son of God,
who came to set them free,
who showed them THE WAY to be.
They will someday sadly,
be forced by God to bend their knees.
I will not be afraid to face their snares.
Those who are loyal will not stand alone.
While the rest of the world hold their own idealistic hands,
We will search the eastern skies,
and watch for the soon coming of the genuine Son of Man.
