RESURRECTION TOUR

Screams filled the electrically charged atmosphere.
Amplifiers rocked as they sent their vibrations
into the night air.
On centre stage...
moved stars with famous names.

Celebrities... well know by their Pop fame.
Hendrix and Joplin,
Elvis and Cobaine.
Earth's final stage,
had been skilfully arranged.

The crowd cheered for more;
blind to the purpose of this... " Resurrection Tour".
Unwilling to escape,
trapped by the excitement that would seal their fate.
Being warned of this devil's delusion.
The game played by demon fakes.
I knew I had to flee! Before it was to late!

Seductively blinding...
Foolishly confining...
Hypnotized bodies rocked back and forth.
Fully believing what their eyes were seeing.

This resurrection lie.
They preferred to theorize,
Was a sign God was on their side.
Human cattle ignorant of their pending slaughter,
Millions of foolish sons,
millions of foolish daughters.

The night sky turned a deep shade of blood red,
I knew none would be spared!
A man claiming to be Jesus Christ,
was yelling, " I have come to set all things right!"

On a hill nearby,
stood hundreds of crosses cradling human flesh.
He pointed and shouted,
"those are the ones whose unbelief in me,
condemned themselves to death!"

He claimed when the unfaithful were gone,
He could raise the rest of the dead from beyond.
This "Resurrection Tour" was just the start,
of the thousand years of peace promised by God,
a gift for those saved from under the,
" Old Covenant law."

Fear filled by nostrils.
I thought that I too,
should have been up on that burning Hill.

Had I become an enemy against those who followed
God's true commission?
Was I a lost soul victim?
Had my faith proven to be so weak?
I realized what this Resurrection Tour stood for.
Had my heart revealed me to be counted with these
deluded
on the stadium floor?

Somehow, having gained a ticket
for the WRONG, "Resurrection Tour".
