This is a picture of my Dad and his uncle George Bozell.
It was taken in 1925 after Dad's mother, Ella Earnest Bozell had died.
Dad stayed with Uncle George and his wife Laura (McCrory) Bozell for awhile after his mother died.  He was later raised by his grandparents, John Levi and Pearl (Dimick) Covalt Bozell., John's 2nd wife.



This is my dad, George Gerald Bozell, in 1942.
This is his high school graduation picture.
He graduated from Summitville High School,
Madison County, Indiana.



Shortly after graduation, Dad enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.  He did his basic training at San Diego, California and was shipped out to the South Pacific.  He served in the 6th Marine Division, 6th Tank Battalion, Company B.  He was honorably discharged on February 9, 1946, having served his
country for three years.
