CLUB BYLAWS
ARTICLE I – NAME
Section 1. The name of this Club shall be Glenda’s Smiley Faces.
ARTICLE II – PURPOSE
Section 1. To assist and support Sister Glenda as she prepares for the office of Worthy Grand Matron in 2006.
Section 2. To promote fellowship and work for the good of the Order.
ARTICLE III – DUES
Section 1. Dues shall be $1.00 per year, payable at the first meeting after joining and at the first meeting of each year thereafter.
Section 2. All dues and monies collected shall be used on expenditures of the Club upon approval of the majority of members present at the business meeting.
ARTICLE IV – OFFICERS
Section 1. The officers of this Club shall be President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
Section 2. Elected officers and their term of office shall be as follows:
President – one year
Vice-President – one year
Secretary – one year
Treasurer – one year
Section 3. The duties of each officer shall be as follows:
1. The President shall preside at all meetings and appoint all committees.
2. The Vice-President shall preside in the absence of the President and assume the office of President the following year.
3. The Secretary shall keep minutes of each meeting, records of all business, memberships and correspondence.
4. The Treasurer will collect, deposit and record all dues and monies received. She will pay all bills upon approval by the President.
5. The annual election of officers shall be held at the last meeting of each year with the new officers beginning their duties at the first meeting of each year.
ARTICLE V – MEETINGS
Section 1. The Club will hold their meetings every fifth Thursdays of the Calendar year, at 6:00 p.m.
Section 2. The place of the meeting shall be by decision of the Club.
ARTICLE VI – MISCELLANEOUS
Section 1. This Club will be governed by Robert’s Rules of Order as Revised.
