Glenda’s Smiley Face Club

The meeting was called to order by Renee Perry, President.
It was opened with prayer by Vic Brown.
The eleven members present enjoyed a meal of salad, spaghetti and meatballs, garlic bread, and dessert.
The minutes of December 31, 2004 were read and approved.
The Treasurer reported a balance on hand of $1,291.05 as of February 28, 2005.
New Business
There was discussion on ideas for fund raisers.
A motion was made by Mildred Herring that the Club prepare lunch for the Deputy Grand Lecturer School to be held at Union Chapter on August 20, 2005; motion seconded by Vic Brown, motion passed. The Club will prepare and serve lunch for $5.00 per meal.
Having a rummage sale during Trade Week in White Hall will be discussed at our next meeting.
The Smiley Face Club will set up the reception for the Grand Officers on Friday night, December 9, 2005; the Turkey Trotters will clean up after the reception.
