Glenda’s Smiley Face Club
Thursday, December 30, 2004
After a meal of sandwiches, chips and desserts was enjoyed by the sixteen members in attendance the meeting was called to order by Sister Olea Bean, President. The meeting was opened with prayer by Brother Bob Snyder.
The minutes of the September 30, 2004 meeting were read and approved, the Treasurer’s report showed $1,436.50 on hand as of December 30. Being no old business we went right into new business. Sister Glenda thanked all the Members that worked in the concession stand at Grand Chapter.
Brother Harold thanked Bob Snyder for helping by opening and closing the stand after he had to leave because of illness, he thanked David for running errands and all the others that worked to help keep the stand open. He further reported that he received many nice comments on the sack lunches that were pre-ordered and ready at the end of sessions. People liked the idea of ordering early and having the lunches ready when sessions ended.
The profit from the concession stand was $403.05; Sister Carol will send half of the profit to Johnnie’s Turkey Trotters.
