8. Daniel Theophilus (Tobe) MILAM ^{(34) (35)(36)} was born on 12 May 1850 in Franklin Co., TN. He died on 24 Mar 1927 in Prescott, Neveda Co., AR. Twin to sibling William Milam. Occupation, farmer. Tobe was around nine years old when his father, Jefferson, moved the family from TN to Tishomingo Co., (Carolina Post Office), MS, circa Nov 1859, according to entries on the 4 Aug 1860 Census for that area. Tobe was eleven when Jefferson died in Tupelo, MS,during the Civil War. According to family lore, passed to me by my Uncle Charles Edward Milam, son of John William Milam, Tobe, Tom, & Charlie, could neither read or write. The Group Photo of the three brothers indicate they were of some means as they all wore suit & tie, and the hair & beards were neatly timmed in the style of the day of that period. As passed to me by my Uncle Charlie, and by Huey Theophilus Milam, another grandson of Tobe's, Tobe had one arm missing. As the story goes, a mule grabbed Tobe's arm with his teeth and slung Tobe around like a "Rag Doll", mangling the arm so bad that it had to be amputated immeadiatly on a table at the farm where the incident occured. Around 1880, Tobe moved the family to AR, near Prescott in Neveda Co. Six households, all descendents of Tobe & Armendo Mae were still living in Prescott 20 Feb 1991. Many descendents, and Tobe & Armendo Mae, are buried in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery on the Rosston Highway about two miles south of Prescott. Although born in 1926, in Camden only 40 miles away, and having visited Prescott on a regular basis to visit half brothers and sisters of my mother 1st marriage, I did not know that my father, William Roy Milam was born in Prescott, nor that we had any Milam family there until late in 1990, after a 46 year absence from AR during my Military Career which started in WWII. He was married to Sarah Arminda (Mae) DENMAN on 24 Dec 1872 in Charleston, Tallahatchie Co., MS.	Daniel Theophilus Milam

9. Sarah Arminda (Mae) DENMAN ⁽³⁷⁾ was born on 19 Jul 1854 in Tallahatchie Co., MS. She died on 10 Jan 1929 in Prescott, Neveda Co., AR.⁽³⁸⁾ Children were:

iii. Monroe N. MILAM⁽⁴¹⁾ was born on 13 Jul 1881 in Prescott, Neveda Co., AR. He died on 19 Oct 1969 in Prescott, Neveda Co., AR. Buried in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Rosston Highway, two miles south of Prescott.
iv. Hooper Denman MILAM⁽⁴²⁾ was born on 15 Jun 1886 in Prescott, Neveda Co., AR. He died on 5 May 1981 in Prescott, Neveda Co., AR. He was buried in Aug 1981 in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Hi way # 19 to Rosston, Prescott, AR.
v. Octavia MILAM⁽⁴³⁾ was born about 1888 in Prescott, Neveda Co., AR. She died Unk in Nashville, Howard Co., AR.
