  • Taught grades 9 through 12, in a self-contained class of between 5 and 7 students
  • Supervised three teaching assistants, attendants
  • Taught and graded the progress of twelve to fourteen peer tutors (general education high school students) each semester

 

Sevier County Schools , Special Education Teacher and Science Teacher, 2001 - 2005

  • Taught K through 4 self-contained class of between 8 and 17 students for two years
  • Supervised four paraprofessionals in self-contained classroom
  • Student portfolios received highest Tennessee Comprehensive Assessment Program Alternative score (“Advanced”) both years
