Descendants of Edward Collins

Generation No. 1

(NOTE: The information contained herein pertaining to the family of Edward Collins is found in "Sketches of the First Emigrant Settlers in Newton Township, Old Gloucester County, West New Jersey." by John Clement of Haddonfield, New Jersey, 1877. I have not located a physical copy of this book. It can be found on microfilm which I located at the Denver Public Library, Denver, Colorado. With the exception of the Criss/Crist family information, the most of the Edward Collins lineage found here, is from the "Sketches of the First Emigrant Settlers in Newton Township, Old Gloucester County, New Jersey." I am not going to include the lineage of the Criss/Crist family here, just the direct line to myself. The information on the Criss/Crist family is enormous and has been worked on for more than 20 years by myself, Frank McBride, Dow Cooksey and Susan Zmrzel. The notation "Sketches" refers to the above publication.)
