I just spent the afternoon going through your WILLIAMS family as it contains a lot of new data on my NELSON and KENT families that were married into your WILLIAMS family in Morgan County, Ohio. I have now entered these new relatives in my computer and I thank you for sharing this information via your great site.

Looked at your Williams line. I find a connection with Ephriam Williams, son of Joseph Williams and Sallie Lawson. I am interested in the Lawson line and any information that may give me a direction and a lead. I am descendant of Emily, Ephriam daughter and my great grandmother was Lucy Garretson granddaughter of Emily Williams. Thank you for anything you can tell me. Jeanette Ritchie

Bev, I found you site thru the Missouri Genealogy Webring. We don't have any surnames in common, but we do have Missouri. I grew up in Springfield, MO. I enjoyed you pages on the USS Missouri. Your pictures and narration was very informative, thank you. B cky, a fellow Missourian.

I was looking for an ancestor of mine and I saw a reference to the ship "Missouri" in your listing. I live in Astoria, Oregon where you saw the ship. I appreciate the format of your web site. I am still in the construction process of my site, but I hope to be up and running soon. Darlene Hart

First off I want to say that you have a great site here.People just don't know what it takes to put something like this together. Many thanks. I also would like to say that I have never been aboard the Mighty Mo but I have many affiliations with her. First in 1950 I was ridding up the coast and saw her st ck in the mud. I was being discharged that time. Her power is awesome. My DD was opeating with her in the Caribbean. We were 20 miles from her and I was on deck and my pant legs moved from the concussion. Later in Korea we were in shore 20 miles from TF-77 and when our ship was hit she was lobbing her 16" shells toward the beach as we were heading out to sea. Great Site L. Your tour was truly a wonderful experience having been on watch on the Missouri's quarterdeck while she sat decommissioned in Bremerton in 1964. I walked around the Plaque of Surrender dozens of times (while my ship, the Jupiter was going out of commissio ). Having been a Graphic Arts Teacher since discharge from the Navy in 1965, I retired reacently, I would only change one word when you update the Web Site....Page 7..."Plaque" instead of "Plague". I edited 20 years of Yearbooks for schools, so I'm maybe he only one who say the mispelling. Many thanks for your great effort.....will pass it along to my many Navy Reunion lists. Mike Rigdon
