Hi! My name is Elly. I am a gray tabby cat with white markings. My people--Laura and Peter--adopted me from the Town Lake Animal Center when I was 6 months old. I never had people before and was very nervous when I first started living with them. But they were very nice to me and fed me well and I became big and strong. I learned to jump up to high places and how to play fetch with Peter.

When I was 9 months old, my people decided that I needed a pet of my own. So they went back to the animal shelter and found Cleo. Cleo is a calico cat. She was only 8 weeks old when she came home to me. At first, I was not pleased to have another cat in the house. So I roughed up Cleo to show her who was boss. Once Cleo learned that I was in charge, we became good friends.

Now Cleo and I play together a lot. Our favorite games are wrestling, playing chase, and unrolling the toilet paper in the middle of the night.
