GOD CAN'T HELP BUT LOVE US

God just can't help but love us,
for He's know eternally
How every one of us would live
and what our faults would be.
And yet He sent His only Son
to give us life anew,
Knowing that His followers
would number very few....

For God can't help but love us,
and no matter how we live,
He always stands in readiness
to pardon and forgive,
To give us lasting peace and joy
and strength for each new day
To meet whatever challenges
that life may bring our way.
He wants to share with you and me
the kingdom that is His,
For God can't help but love us-
that's just the way He is.
