Emma's Family daycare serves children and parents in Anne Arundal, Prince George's, Howard and Montgomery counties in Maryland. We have several openings for children ages 2 and up. We are located in the Forest Ridge School district in Howard County Maryland. |

| Hopefully with this page, parents and other providers will be able to get an idea of what I do at my family daycare facility. |

| I have been a licensed provider for 3 years. I am certified in CPR and I am about to renew my First Aid certificate.In addition I have taken the 90 hour certificate course at Prince George's Community College. |
|
| Prior to being a Family Daycare provider, I was a Molecular Biologist. I worked for companies such as Cellmark Diagnostics and Human Genome Sciences, both located in Maryland. |
|
|
I decided to go into daycare while I was pregnant with my second child. I felt that since I loved children and I wanted to stay home with my own, that this would be the field to go into. I was right!
I have been blessed with a wonderful group of children and parents. By having such a wonderful group of people,this makes my job that more enjoyable. |

|
This January I will start a pre-school curriculum. I am using the curriculum from Stephanie's Child Care ( House of Hugs Child Care). By clicking onto the link below, you will be able to view the curriculum month by month. This is helpful to parents who currently have their children enrolled in the program because they know exactly what their children are learning.

Children will bring home their special art project or activities to share with you. This site will also have a monthly newsletter explaining the activites and themes that your child will be doing.
