As salaamu alaikum! Welcome to my page. I'm Kareema. This page will mostly be about me at first. Insha'allah, I'll get better as I go! This a story about how I came to Islam. I started studying Islam in high school. Islam intrigued me. I can't even say exactly what it was that I liked so much. When I was little, I went to Sunday school and read the Bible. But even as a child, I knew that something wasn't right. I use to ask my Mom if she believed Jesus was God. She said, "yes." Sometimes I would try to figure out why people thought Jesus could be God. I would think to myself, "could God be born, even if He already exists...?" It just didn't make sense. So when I got into high school, I took a class called- Religion and Human Culture. We studied Christianity, Judaism, Islam and others. Islam just stood out to me. Not even a month after I got out of high school, I met my husband. The night that we met we both told eachother we were interested in Islam. It was strange. I never expected to meet anyone! Neither of us had even planned on going to the place we met that night. I'm glad we both did though! Now we have 3 beautiful children! Alhumdulillah! When you place all of your faith in Islam and Allah, you feel such peace! At least I do. It was hard at first, but I never stopped believing. I plan on going to college this fall for Islamic Studies, insha'allah. I love this religion and am VERY proud to be a MUSLIM!
