I am very sad to report that our little old lady has left us following kidney failure. She was estimated to be nine years old.

We first adopted Squirt from Ferret Family Services in Manhattan, Kansas. She was sweet, laid-back, quiet, and sensitive. She had several homes before us, including at least one abusive home in which her pelvis, two vertebrae, and her tail were broken. When she first came to us, she was initially very depressed after going through another disruption to her life, but she quickly adjusted, and we hope the six years she spent with us in her forever home helped her to overcome the past.

We are going to miss her very much.
