My 13th birthday! Yipee! For the first time we have gone to a party shop for the decorations. We chose purple, pink and silver for the color scheme. The balloons were dark purple, hot pink, lavender and silver, the streamers were the same colors as the balloons but without the silver, the napkins were purple, and the candles were silver. The cake was a chocolate mud cake covered in M&Ms, and over all the decorations didn't look to bad. For presents I got a lovely amythest ring, a little doggy ornament, some chocolates, a teddy box for my letters, plus some other things. We went into the city and went on a cruise down the Yarra River. I chose to go downstream into the docklands, which was very interesting. Afterwards we all went to a cafe for afternoon tea, and then to a friends house. On the way home we bought KFC and hired the video You've Got Mail. Of course we went home and ate the KFC, blew out the candles and tried not to burn the house down with the sparklers (I got al 13 candles in one breath), watched the video, and there you have it, my birthday in brief! I had a great day, and though it was cloudy it wasn't to cold.
