QUIETISM
a pacifist quality and movement
who originally was an extreme form of Mysticism proposed by
Miguel de Molinos
and in a more moderate fashion by
FENELON

see: Bigelow:
Molinos the Quietist

In the West Quietistic developments ususally seem exotic and are apt to be associated with pantheism.

Quietist ideas are common in Buddhism an Brahmanism.

The Quakers in their early days showed tendencies to Quietism but their interest in doing good works has always kept them from extremes.
