Aloha, My husband, 2 children (ages 9 & 10), and I will be moving back to the island in May '01. Paul, my husband, will be transferring to BYU and I will be looking for work. I am interested in finding pen pals for my children. They are very excited about the move but are aware of what they are getting into, if you know what I mean. (smile) This will be a permanent move for us. We have a few questions concerning the move and the like and would appreciate anyone who would be willing to offer support in that way. Sometimes the thought of this move can be pretty scary but we feel, after m ch prayer, that this is where Heavenly Father would have us be. We joined the Church in 1993 and were sealed in the San Diego Temple in 1994. I LOVE the Primary and currently serve as the CTR 7/8 teacher. I have served in the Primary many times and have a great love for all children...even the ones with the wiggles. I am 32 years old and am currently working as an Assistant Director of Technology at a private girl's school here in Louisville, KY. I am fasinated by other cultures and enjoy studing them as a hobby. I also LOVE cooking and find it very theraputic. I love the outdoors, sun, spending time with my family, and feeding the missionaries. In my spare time I like to study foreign languages and would like to learn to speak Mandarin or Japanese. Paul is currently employed at UPS part-time and is a full time student. He is majoring in Computer Science/Information Systems. He is a GREAT sand/beach volleyball player, loves to surf, mountain bike, read, and do anything outside. He grew up in Hawai and is a graduate of Damien High School. Paul serves as a faithful home teacher and as a counsilor in Young Men's. Stacey Scott, our son, is 10 years old today. He has a wonderful, sweet spirit and young children just adore him. He enjoys skateboarding, rollerblading, bike riding, and playing outside. He loves summer and swimming and can't wait for his dad to te ch him how to surf. He learned to boogie board when he was 4 months old but hasn't been able to practice for a while. Stacey is more of a 50's kind of a kid and would make a great friend. He isn't "WORLDLY", is very giving (almost to a fault), and enj ys peaceful surroundings and beauty. We love him very much. Ellen is 9 years old. She is 11 months younger than her brother but you would never know it. She is courageous, but not foolish, a leader, but not bossy, mature, but doesn't act too old for her age. Both she and her brother are very intelligent, but El en is a teacher's dream. She is cooperative, friendly, hard working, and helpful. She enjoys reading EVERYTHING! She is a natural athlete, like her daddy, and does very well at any sport she undertakes. But, soccer does seem to be one of her favorites She also loves to swim and wants to learn to surf, snorkel, SCUBA dive, and body board. Everyone loves Ellen's warm, friendly personality and she is always the first to befriend the outsider. She hopes to find a friend that isn't too bossy and likes t play outside. She says she isn't ready to sit around listening to the BackStreet Boys and NSYNC yet. She still enjoys being a kid. Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you soon. DJ

We love Hawaii. We would like to live there but we are finding it very expensive. We are 60 and we adopted two little ones five years ago. They are 7 and 10 now. We live in Spokane, Wa. We just got a new Temple in Aug. We live just 5 minutes from it. We are blessed to be so close. We would still like to be in warm weather. It gets pretty cold here in the winter. Hi! Glad to find you. Can't find the right website. My family will vacation starting in two days on Oahu, and we want to visit the Temple ( I was endowed 2 months ago). Need a number or something so we can get the schedule. 411 is no help. Also hope to find a babysitter for our 6 and 9 year olds while we do a session in the Temple. Can you help?
