If you have a dream.....
Begin on your journey today by taking that first step.

Don't wait for some distant day to come,
it may be too late before you've even begun.

Not everyone will agree with all you decide.
Be true to yourself first and foremost.

The only important thing in life is what you do
with the time you spend here on earth.

Don't be afraid to follow your desires,
they are not silly nor selfish.

Take the time and do what makes you feel alive.
Leave your fears and regrets in the past,
for this is where they belong.

Don't cloud today with things that can't be undone.
You have no more control over yesterday or tomorrow,
than you do the raging of your passions.

Do not quiet these dreams nor quench your desires.
For if you do, your journey is ended.

You have only today to begin anew and follow your dreams.
For in the end all we have are our memories.

In life sometimes we lose our place,
And in our hearts we are left with just an empty space.
We only concentrate on the loneliness and pain,
And a glimpse of our reflection reveals
a person ordinary and plain.

We forget about all the people's lives we have touched,
And instead think that our own life doesn't amount to much.
But it's amazing what the mind hides when the soul is lost,
And how many excuses to avoid achievement that we can exhaust.

For a person such as you harbors so much potential,
But in order for it to flourish self confidence is essential.
You possess charisma and compassion that is shared so freely,
And a radiant beauty that only you can not see.
And when the time comes and you finally appreciate who you are,
This will be the day the world inherits it's most brilliant star.

So my friend, never lose yourself in another's shadow,
Let your own talents and abilities allow you to grow,
And that empty space in your heart will overflow.

The Mystery of Love

It is a mystery why we fall in love.
It is a mystery why it happens.
It is a mystery when it comes.
It is a mystery why some love grows, and it is a mystery why some love fails.
You can analyze this mystery and look for reasons and causes, but you will never do any more than take the life out of the experience.

Love is more than the sum of the interests, attractions, and commodities that two people share.
And just as life itself is a gift that comes and goes in its time, the coming of love must be taken as an unfathomable gift that cannot be questioned in its way.

Too often, when love comes to people, they try to grasp the love and hold it to themselves, refusing to see that it is a gift freely given and a gift that just so freely moves away.
When they fall out of love, or the person they love feels the spirit of love leaving, they try desperately to reclaim the love that is lost rather than accepting the gift for what it was.

They want answers where there are no answers.
They want to know what is wrong with them, or they try to get their lover to change, thinking that if some small thing were different, love would bloom again.
They blame their circumstances.
They blame each other.
They try anything to give meaning to what has happened.
But there is no meaning beyond the love itself, and until they accept its own mysterious ways, they live in a sea of misery.

You need to treat what love brings you with kindness.
If you find yourself in love with someone who does not love you, be gentle with yourself.
There is nothing wrong with you.
Love just didn't choose to rest in the other person's heart.

If you find someone else in love with you toward whom you feel no love, feel honored that love came and called at your door, but gently refuse the gift you cannot return.
Don't take advantage and don't cause pain.
How you deal with love is how love with deal with you, and all our hearts feel the same pains and jos, even if our lives and ways are very different.
