"One third class ticket and enough money to make it into a second class ticket" She said placing the money and ticket on the table.
"Well your one lucky girl," The man behind the counter said. He had been the one to sell me and three other of my friends third class tickets. Two returned their tickets due to the fact those jobs they were promised were gone. The other got a job as a nanny and was now in first class. She sold her ticket and now had spending money. I on the other hand worked here and there to get the money. I like in a Border City and money from the other country is worth a little more but here we count small coins as the same amount. I saved a separated the coins and was able to get a good exchange rate on them.
"Well here you go one second class ticket on the S.S. 'Titanic'" He said handing me the new ticket.
"Thank you" I said. I took the ticket and left. I then went to the train station to get my ticket on the Titanic express. I heard that mostly first class people would be on it, but it was my only way to Southampton. I then hurried home, I had three days left, and I still needed to pack.
When I arrived home, I found a big party waiting for me. There way friend relatives and the whole town it seemed. I got in the house and found a table full of gifts for me to bring to America.
