The second portal to my procreation is my
established genealogical maternal linage through my
Grandfather, Robert George Brown Sr., it is recorded on his death certificate, that his father's name was Thomas B. Brown and his mother's name was Susan Brown (maiden name unknown at present)however on the marriage certificate, when they were married on 25 December 1910, Robert's father's name was Thomas F. Brown and his mother's name was Isabella Percy and they were born in the British West Indies.
Robert George Brown, who was
born in Jamaica West Indies, on 13 October,1872, (city or county unknown at present) at the age of
fourteen years, he became a cabin boy on a Norwegian
ship(circa)1886, and sailed around the world many
times, stopping at many countries and ports.
Also born to the union of Thomas B. Brown and Susan Brown, were Chester B.Brown and Zilla Brown.

In the process of his travels over a period
of time, he learned to speak seven (7) different
languages, which were: German, Latin, Hebrew
,Spanish,Swahili, Japanese and French, which he spoke
fluently.

After these great years of adventure he was
drawn to the United States, I believe he came to America in 1906 when he received word
from his sister; Zilla Brown and her husband Holmes.
Robert came to Coatsville PA. and then to Newark,
N.J. where he joined the Church of God
and Saints of Christ in 1907, which his sister had wrote him about,she also wrote and told their brother Chester
Buckson Brown about the church and he also came to
the United States with his wife Bessie
Brown. Chester and Bessie, then went to Philadelphia where he set up a tabernacle.

Robert was not married when he came to the
United States, however he met a member of the church, Minnie Craig, who was born, November 1884, Prince Edward County,in Farmville, Virginia.
I believe that Robert came to this country(circa)1906 andjoined the in church(circa)1907, established a Masonary Contracting business; and married Minnie Craig, 25 December in the year 1910 and on the marriage certificate, Minnie's father's name was William Craig and her mother's name was Elizzie Beth (Evans) Craig (Lizzie-Elizabeth). It is noted that he started his own masonary and painting business which was instrumental in giving many brothers of the church a job.(update needed)
The first child born to the union of Robert
and Minnie Brown, on 14 December 1911 in Newark, NJ;
was Rebecca Brown, who was my mother.
The second child was Zephaniah Brown, born
on 10 November 1914 in Newark, NJ., and at the age of 16 years old, in 1930 (the year that I was born) he went to work for his father Robert G. Brown Sr., to help him and learn the business
The third child was Jesse Brown born on
(update needed) Newark, NJ.
The fourth child was Debora Brown born (update
needed) Newark, NJ.
The fifth child was Robert George Brown Jr., born 8 June 1926 in Newark, NJ.
Robert G. Brown Sr., passed this life on 19 July 1947, at the age of 74 years,10 months and 6 days. He was interred at Heavenly Rest Memorial Park, of Hanover,New Jersey on 23 July 1947 by Churchman's Funeral Home of Newark, NJ.
Minnie (Craig) Brown passed this life on 20 January 1948 and was interred at Heavenly Rest Memorial Park with her husband.
