"TO A PRECIOUS FEW"

The days of life dwindle down to a precious few, from september to december and the autumn leaves that have turned to gold, begin to fade away as the snow of winter approaches.

Thus every living human being must pass through transition, inorder for life to continue. This I perceive through the fact that my parents and grandparents no longer reside on this mundane plane, in the earthly house of the tabernacle which I once knew, for those houses h ave been disolved. Yet the life source of those my ancestors continues to flow through the blood line of my family and myself and the actions of different individual family relations, often show many of the characteristics of my ancestors.

Which leads me to the Major family, the children of the first Godfrey child born, namely Naomi Godfrey, born December 1899 in Dorchester county, Dorchester, SC and she was joined in the holy estate of matrimony to Simon Major. To this union was born Alonso Major, Marcella Major, George Major, Theresa Major,Vivian Major and Godfrey Major.
