TO THE "SPIRIT of PROPHECY "

The spirit of prophecy is the vital connecting force of human nature, which travels down through ancestral linage, giving off rays of solar energy which is a life sustainer passed from procreation to procreation. I therefore feel that I will be able to trace my roots by listening to the internal voice of eternity for directions to the paths which will lead me to information about my relatives and culture.

It is now my pleasure to invite you into the third portal of my family tree, that I call unification. I, Alvin Godfrey Jr., through unification, am the first born son and child of Alvin Godfrey Sr. and Rebecca(Brown)Godfrey, was born 17 April 1930 in Newark,(Essex county) NJ, and my brother the second son and child, through unification was born 17 December 1932 in Newark (Essex county) NJ., thus unifying my brother and I through the unification of our parents

I Alvin Godfrey Jr., married Evelyn (Way) Godfrey on 8 August 1948 in Newark, NJ(Essex county). Our first born was Alvin Wayne Godfrey born (update needed). Second child Malinda Bernice Godfrey(Taylor) born (update needed). Third child, Norma Jean Godfrey, born (update needed). Fourth child, Clarence Lamont Godfrey, born 4 October,1952 in Newark (Essex county) NJ, (he legally changed his name to Abdul Majied) and he married Bonita Majied on 28 October, 1972 in Newark, NJ. Children of Abdul and Bonita (Godfrey) Majied: Salah (Godfrey) Majied, born 7 July, 1974 in Newark, NJ. Munir (Godfrey) Majied, born 27 April, 1988 in Newark, NJ. Na'eem Godfrey) Majied, born 29 July, 1989 in Newark, NJ.

(I am in the process of updating this information). I also have two other children, born as all of my children were, out of love and since all human beings were created and procreated from the earth and are of one blood, the life giving source of our mundane existance. I do not use the terms; half breed,half blood, step or foster children, I use the term for all my children and call them children of love.

My two children whose mother is Vivian (Jarrett) Farrar-Burton, born (update needed) and she conceived Jewel Bernice(Godfrey)Madison, born 11 March 1964 in Philadelphia, PA. Also Luressa Denine (Godfrey)Volkens, born 10 March 1965, in Philadelphia, PA.

I was remarried to Arline Virginia (Venter) Perkins-Godfrey, who was born, 2 August 1927, in Providence, RI. We were married on 19 June 1976, in Philadelphia PA. She has two children, Diane Marie Perkins (Godfrey) born 12 March 1948 in Providence, RI, and Joanne Larae (Perkins) Williams(changed her name legally to Jordan) she was born 21 February 1950 in Boston, MA,these two children are not step children to me but love children and I began a relationship with their mother when they were teenagers andthen we were married. We also have a spiritual relationship which goes deeper then genetics.
