Jim Robb - Yukon Artist
- There are strange things done in the midnight sun. And Jim Robb keeps track of most of them.
- Jim Robb has lived in the Yukon for about 40 years, and for most of those years has been a professional artist, specializing in historical buildings and colourful personalities.
- He calls his artwork "the exaggerated truth." He was greatly influenced in the '60s by painting the Gold Rush buildings in Dawson City, which were leaning and tilting as a result of the permafrost. His artwork took on a lean or exaggeration that became part of his style.
