    I have posted the 1855 census for Troupsburg, Steuben County, New York.  I went to the County Clerks office in Bath, NY and hand-copied the entire census and put it on my computer and posted here for all to use. I uploaded my  newest version on 2/13/99, with spelling corrections.
I have also posted the early births for Troupsburg, New York. They run from 1847 to 1900.

I have added a list of Steuben Town & Village Clerks along with the proper address for each. I found these in a Steuben County publication and therefore this information is for public use. I have now added a list of Town & Village HISTORIANS.

    At this point I would like to add that I have decided to exclude all persons who were born after 1900 from my genealogies. If you want or need information on any families after 1900 please e-mail me with your wants at gesawyer43@verizon.net .  I'm sure something can be worked out.
