Rubber
Stamp Tips
I haven't
been stamping long but I sure do enjoy
making
my own cards and giftwrap and any thing
Else I
can think of.
My best
friend talked me into going to a stamp
party and
i thought it would be as boring as those
rubbermaid
parties, but boy was I surprised.
Now every
time we go shopping the first thing on
our mind
is "where can we find some stamps"
Here are
a few tips I have learned and I will
do my best
to add more as I learn them.
tips
-
When going to a convention, use a fannypack
to carry your money and other valuables. This makes it harder for
thiefs to get at your things..
-
Go to all the days of a Stamp convention
because they usually offer free classes and demonstrations on the first
day and sales or discount prices on the second day.
-
Make good use of those dicount bins at
a convention, unmounted rubber is less expensive and you can mount it yourself
cheaper..
-
Instead of buying expensive card stock,
go to the discount stores and get childrens construction paper pads, art
pads, sketching pads, Etc. I made a nice birthday wrap by decorating
sketch pad paper with birhtday stamps. And it adds a more personal touch.
If you have a tip you would like
to see posted here
then email me and i will do my
best to get it on here quickly.
A friend
gave me her disk of backgrounds but didn't know who had made them. So if
you know, let me know and I will gladly post a link to their site.
Beautiful though ,isn't it?
What about
getting a recipe
