Born: June 4, 1956 in Staten Island, NY.
Reeves has a two-inch scar between his shoulder blades, from having a pair of pinking shears thrown at him as he was leaving a gig.

In 1987, Reeves was earning $8000 per year, working in a Wurlitzer Music Store by day and playing guitar by night.
Kevin McCluskey taught Reeves how to play "Country Music".
Sara Terry Gabrels, wife of Reeves, frequently wrote articles for the Christian Science Monitor. The song "Shopping For Girls" (from Tin Machine II) was written about one such article:
- "That song actually came out of an investigative magazine article that Reeves' wife wrote on child prostitution around the world. And one of the places she went to was Thailand. Reeves had the rather unsavory job of hiring the children and then getting them out of the brothels to Sara, who could then interview them." --David Bowie
- The article, "Children in Darkness" was printed in the June 30, 1987 edition of the Christian Science Monitor: "KHAM SUK is 13 years old. She is a small child, with a delicate face. When she giggles, she sounds like any little girl at play. But Kham Suk doesn't have much time for fun. During the Bowie "Outside" tour of 1995-96, Reeves would often be playing with three bands in one evening. He played with his own band as an opener before playing with Nine Inch Nails and David Bowie.
Earthling (largely co-written by Reeves) was nominated for two Grammy Awards in 1998.
Appeared in the computer game "Omikron, the Nomad Soul" (Eidos/Quantic Dream), and on the David Bowie album, 'hours...'
"Ulysses (della notte)", Reevz's 1999 album, has been nominated for a Yahoo Internet Life Award. The award went to Aimee Mann (Bachelor No.2).
Currently: The Reevz News Page now has a report and pictures from the Viper Room (Los Angeles). While there, he played every Sunday with Dan Ill and Paul McCarroll and special guests Benmont Tench (of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers), Carrie Hamilton, Danny Saber and more.

After the breakup of Tin Machine, Reeves played with the Doom Dogs (1993-1994). "KnitKnot", from a Doom Dogs live concert is available at mp3.com. Fellow Doom Dog Jair-Rohm Parker Wells has a website which includes a RealAudio of "Portrait of a Girl With Tin Machine Gun", by the Doom Dogs.
Reeves played guitar on OBE's "Obsolete", "GO" and "Sample This".

John Lennon: Reeves and David Bowie recorded one more song -- John Lennon's "Mother" -- for a Lennon tribute album, scheduled for release on what would be Lennon's 60th birthday (09 OCT 2000). The track was produced by Tony Visconti; Reeves played guitar. 01 Aug 2000

Yahoo Awards Update: Unfortunately, the "Online Album" award went to Aimee Mann. David Bowie performed "Life On Mars" and "Wild is the Wind" with Mike Garson on keyboards -- the rest of the band stayed at home, apparently. No evidence that Bowie and Reeves even saw each other. 24 Jul 2000
