december 98 - announcement for returning visitors:
new pictures taken on a recent trip to peru can be found on my homepage:
new pics from peru (as usual explanations are in german!)

Welcome Mavica interested visitor. The original intent of this page was to let our friends know something about our adventures here in ecuador (and some weeks in the states too). The main language on this page is therefore german (I'm from switzerland, Paola from Ecuador; at the moment we live in Ecuador). If you d'like to see all the pictures follow this link to my homepage(in german). Here on this page I've inserted a few pictures with english description. All the pictures have been taken with an Mavica FD7 that I purchased more than a year ago. I like the camera, but I think some of the features that I read about the new FD71 would be nice to have (I'm a little bit mad about SONY that they hadn't included it in the FD7 already (instead of the useless picture effects):
What I like about the already built-in fd7 features are:
The features I never use are standard quality and the picture effects.

Higher resolution would be nice to have too, but the vga resolution is ok for the web. And I even printed pictures letter-size (with epson stylus color 400), that are looking ok from about a meter distance. So I don't think to buy the FD71 but perhaps the new FD91 (XGA res. MPEG Video, 14x zoom).

Ok here are the pictures (I hardly edited them, most are size-reduced, and on some I've changed lightness and contrast (PaintShop Pro)):
