Boysenberry Pie - from Pat
5-6 cups frozen boysenberries
Thaw berries and drain juice into saucepan. You should have about 1-1 1/2 cups juice. Add syrup and cornstarch. Cook on high until thick, stirring constantly with a whisk. Pour over berries. If making an open face, pour over berries into pre-baked shell. If a bottom and top crust are used, do not pre-bake pie shell and double the crust recipe. Prick the bottom ot the crust before pouring berries into the shell. Bake 45-50 minutes until top crust is golden.
