Fresh Cranberry Cake - from Eve

2 cups whole fresh cranberries (washed)
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2-1 cup chopped walnuts
5 Tbsp. butter
2 eggs
1 cup flour

Combine berries, 1/4 cup sugar and nuts. Place in a 9" square pan. Set aside. Melt butter. Combine eggs, 1 cup sugar, flour and 2 1/2 Tbsp. melted butter. Pour egg mixture over berries. Don't stir. Top with remaining melted butter and bake 1 hour in a preheated 325 oven. Cool. Serve plain or with ice cream or whipped topping.
