Chicken Ala Donna - from Donna

1 (29 oz.) can Veg-All Homestyle Large Cut Vegetables
2 pkgs. macaroni and cheese
2-3 lb. boneless chicken (cut into bite size pieces)
1 onion (sliced)
1/2 bell pepper (sliced)
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup

In a large pot, mix together the cream of mushroom soup, cheese from the macaroni boxes and the can of vegetables. Add 2 cups water. Stir constantly. Bring to a boil. Turn off and set aside. In a lightly greased frying pan, add the chicken and cook on high until browned. Add to the sauce. Brown onion and bell pepper and set aside. Cook macaroni. Additional noodles may be added. Drain and add to the sauce. Simmer for 15 to 30 minutes (until chicken is done.) Garnish with the onions and bell pepper if desired. (My kids don't like the onions and pepper - that was for the adults.)
