Strawberry Pretzel Salad - from Eve

2 cups crushed unsalted pretzels
3 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 cup melted butter or margarine
8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup sugar
10 oz. Cool Whip (softened)
6 oz. (large pkg.) strawberry Jello
2 cups boiling water
2 pkg. (10 oz. each) frozen strawberries (sugared, in juice)

Mix pretzels, sugar and butter and press down in a 9x13" baking dish. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes. Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Mix in Cool Whip. Spread on cooled crust. Dissolve Jello in water; add strawberries. Cool to at least room temperature. Pour on top of second layer. Chill
