Soups

 

Chicken Corn Soup or Corn Chowder

6 cups stock or canned broth
2 cans whole corn
2 cans creamed corn
2 cups diced potatoes
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced carrots
1/2 cup parsley
1 1/2 cups Magic Mix (see under Miscellaneous)
1 lage onion
1/2 stick margarine or butter
1 packet Sazon (spice found in ethnic food section of grocery store in orange box)

Saute onion in butter or margarine until very soft. Add all other ingredients in pot and cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Crispy fried bacon may be crumbled and used as a garnish.
