Briefly, the Westaway Family hailed from Devonshire, England. They first arrived on PEI in 1820 and were farmers and shipbuilders. The McCue Family originated in County Monaghan, Ireland. They first arrived on PEI in 1818 on the West End of the Island. They were chiefly farmers.
