The first day of Christmas My Secret Santa Gave To Me
One "Chocolate Raspberry Brownie" Recipe!

Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

1 cup ( 2 sticks ) butter 5 ounces unsweetened chocolate 2 cups sugar 4 large eggs 1 1/4 cups flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 cup walnuts ( Roasted & Chopped ) 1/2 cup Raspberry preserves or jam
Melt butter and chocolate. Remove from heat. Whisk in sugar, then eggs and vanilla. Mix dry ingredients and add to batter. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan. Freeze until firm, approximately 10-15 minutes. Spread preserves (or jam) over batter. Spoon remaining batter over preserves(or jam). Let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes to thaw. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes

Lamb's Wool was once a ceremonial drink in England.
It was a mixture of Hot Ale,
Sugar, Spices, Egg, and Roasted Apples.
Thick Cream was sometimes added to it.
Lamb's Wool was served in a Wassail Bowl
with pieces of Toast floating on top.
