However you managed to stumble accross this site, you have stumbled across what I hope will be one of the most comprehensive internet websites regarding the former Maine Central Mountain Division and the Boston & Maine North Conway Branch on the internet today. Here is a quote that I wrote with the help of my father when I was 9 years old and just becoming interested in the area:
