I was born in Salem, Oregon and am a graduate of South Salem High School. My former commander then asked me to head up the SAC Command Center modernization team at Offutt AFB, NE. While there I led the effort to bring the SAC Command Center into the 21st century and helped to establish the J64 directorate in the new United States Strategic Command.
