June 1991 Age 10

Playing baseball is part of almost every red blooded American boys childhood, it's the natural order of things. And so it was with Marshall. He started playing at age 7 and ended his career at age 12. I always felt that he never got his due because of Little League politics. You know what I mean, if your dad doesn't coach the team you don't make all stars or, if you're not from around here you don't get to start. Marshall only hit one home run out of the park, but he was never one to go for the long ball. He had many RBI's, base hits and was rock solid on defense.
