9-year-old Erica wrote this essay for her 3rd grade class. 

Is she great or what!

On the first day of school I woke up and looked in the mirror. I screamed and fainted because I found out that my brother Shane had cut my hair all different lengths. While I was fainted I wet my jammies. When I woke up I forgot to buy new school clothes. So I got on the bus with a bad hair cut and dirty clothes. When I was on the bus I was looking out the window someone spit gum in my hair. When I got off the bus everyone was laughing. Then I slipped on a banana peal and fell into a 1 foot 10 inches puddle. When I was walking down the hall everyone was laughing. When I got off the bus everyone was laughing at me because I had dirty clothes, a bad hair cut, gum in my hair and I HAD NO PANTS ON. I threw up. Then I got sent to the principal's room for all that. The principal let me go home. When I got home something was licking my face. I woke up and said Jessica (my dog) I'm so glad that was dream. And I pinched myself just to make sure.
