Fort Hardy

This scale model of Fort Hardy was created by Shane Larkin and classmates in his 4th grade enhancement class at  Schuylerville Elementary School in June 2001.

The model, on display at the Schuyler's Canal Park Visitors Center, is the only model of Fort Harvey in existence, according to Center Director Timothy A. Holmes.

Fort Hardy was Revolutionary War depot and troop station built in 1757. General John Burgoyne's British army surrendered its arms and colors there in October 1777, ending the battles of Saratoga.
