The Franklin Delano Roosevelt Monument, which began as one of the most controversial monuments on the Washington Mall, has today become the most visited monument on the Mall

This interesting shot caught one of the D.C. security helicopters just as it was passing near the top of the Washington Monument, making it look almost as though the helicopter and monument were connected.
