Wings Prison Ministry was founded in 1992 in a prison cell within the confines of the Arizona Department of Corrections. This ministry started after God gave a vision to a young man while he was incarcerated and ministers began writting letters asking for guidance and direction. What started as a ministry to the clerg soon became a Bible study for inmates. This lasted until April of 1993 when this young inmate was released from custody. Now, thanks to the Glory of God, this ministry is taking the Word back into the jails and prisons to the inmates incarcerated there as well as to their families and other ministers around the world.
