Here is the best and most important thing I have ever done with my life...... Ashlee
Ashlee at her 8th grade graduation!! Isn't she beautiful!!
Ashlee started 9th grade and will be turning 15 shortly, it's hard to believe how fast she is growing!

I had Ashlee while I was in high school and to make a long story short, in order for me to finish school and for Ashlee to get the care she needed my parents adopted her.  Rowdy and I adopted her back and she has been with us full-time for almost 3 years now.  While it wasn't an easy road to that point it has all been worth it.  Ashlee has known that I am her mother since she was about 7 years old and has known all along that we have wanted her with us.  I believe that her knowing this has made the transition easier for her.

Ashlee is pretty much the typical teen, or at least I think *S*.  She loves to be on the phone, talk about the cute boys (though I believe the word she uses is "Hot"), and she loves to question my authority *S*.  It's funny how at this age they won't question what Dad says but everything Mom says is up for debate :o)  or is this only my opinion??  Either way she is a gem and we love her, for all the times she drives us crazy there are that many more that she brings more enjoyment to our lives.

She is looking forward to her new baby sisters as the time gets closer though she was a bit upset at first that they weren't boys.  Seems she wants to remain our "little girl" :o) .  She does get a little upset when people hear we're having twins and how she is that the comment always seems to be... "Wow!  You're going to be a big help!!" or "A free babysitter!  What more could you ask for?".  We try to make her understand that we won't be taking advantage though there will be times she'll have to help out with the girls.  She seems to be ok with that, though she thinks diaper changing is out  *LOL* boy is she in for a suprise!!

Ashlee will be getting her drivers permit in the next couple months!!  *ACK!!*  Wish us luck on that one!
